Harry Potter is one of the most beloved franchises of all time. Introducing an intricate world that any audience member could get lost in, this franchise worked for many reasons like the nostalgic feeling that the early films possess and the darker tones adapted by the latter films, help it feel as though the viewer is growing up with the characters that they see on screen. This, in reality, was the case for many, who became fans of the franchise as each film came out, growing up with the main three actors, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint.

It’s hard to watch a film like ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,’ because I’m just not very good in it. I hate it,” Radcliffe told. “My acting is very one-note and I can see I got complacent and what I was trying to do just didn’t come across.”

He stated his reason for this, explaining that he did not like this film because he believed that his performance in it wasn’t his strongest compared to his other works. He explained that what he was trying to portray in this film, a smug sort of aura for his character, was something that he things did not come off well, making the character seem two-dimensional. He added that this was the reason why he found it difficult to watch this movie.
