This wave has featured many popular titles from franchises like Tomb Raider and Kona. But one title that is making the fans more excited has to be one of the most controversial remakes of 2024, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Gets Added to the Xbox Game Pass May Wave 1
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake will be available in the Xbox Game Pass starting May 14 on the cloud, console, and PC.
The remake of this fantasy adventure title was released on February 28, 2024, on PS5, Xbox One Series X/S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. This game narrates the heartfelt stories of two brothers, Naia and Naiee, who embark on their journey to save the life of their dying father.

The game is built on Unreal Engine 5, and every step of their journey is painstakingly rebuilt from the ground up for a captivating story. The game features a unique aspect as players can control both brothers simultaneously on their path to finding a cure for their father. The remake version will also have a two-player local co-op mode where two players can control each other to make the game even more fun.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Created Many Controversies
The new remake is made from a game that is just a decade old, but the remake is entirely disappointing. There are a lot of misguided changes to the visuals, cutscenes, and even the story compared to the original game.
The most noticeable differences are in the graphical aspects. The original game offered a more old style of children’s bookish visuals. But in the remake, for the sake of modernization, the graphics have been made way more realistic, which absolutely doesn’t suit the vibe of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
In the original game, the characters were more likely to be presented as soft-stuffed dolls, which added a natural essence to the game. On the other hand, in the remake, the characters looked more artificial, with a plasticky shine on their skins, which feels weird.
