The game’s description on Bethesda’s official website states that it will be set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. As expected, Indy will uncover a mystery while traveling to far-off lands in his quest while keeping foes at bay. The game’s locations include the Vatican, Egypt, even Sukhothai, Thailand, and the snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas.

The title could be Microsoft’s answer to the hit Uncharted Series exclusive to the Sony PlayStation console lineup before two of the series’ most recent games came on the PC. While Uncharted is a third-person series where players take control of Nathan Drake, looking at the Indiana Jones trailer reminds one of Drake’s adventures.

This is indicated by the game’s premise surrounding investigating far-off lands and locations of archaeological significance and by elements like puzzle-solving. Also, witnessing Indy using his whip to fight against foes as the iconic background score plays is a moment that induces goosebumps.

The game will also switch to a third-person view when traversal is required and during maneuvers like ziplining. Also, the game’s focus on offering various ways to get to the desired point and the ability to use various strategies, including going all guns blazing or going in dark and silent, make for a fantastic offering to witness.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will also be available as a day-one release on Game Pass. Let us know what you think of the game’s reveal in the comments below.
