Xbox supported the Asus Rog Ally device with Game Pass titles, but that and other devices run with Windows 11, making the experience not as perfect and refined as it should be on an Xbox console level, and Microsoft seems to be aware of that.

Phil Spencer, as we all gamer fans know is the head of Xbox, responded to a tweet on the Asus Rog Ally Gaming account during a fan query about what to expect for Xbox in a new UI-like device after Microsoft’s new console dashboard. Spencer said his team has “more to do” on devices like the Ally, and is “focused” to upgrade the gamer experience in general.

Although fans are very satisfied with the Rog Ally experience, Phil Spencer and his team at Microsoft seem to be determined to bring either an Xbox Handheld out in the future, or making it work better on these types of devices are currently available on the market right now, like the Rog Ally.

The debate between handheld and traditional console fans has lasted for quite a while now, and none of the sides can be proved wrong or right, it’s about personal preference for each gamer.

On the handheld side, we can lose the performance of some very refined titles, having the graphics and the data processing diminished but on the good side, portable devices allow you to take your games for travel or for going out with friends, giving more opportunities to enjoy your console.
