Ubisoft’s XDefiant is one of the most well-known multiplayer games released recently. The game has captivated players with its blend of tactical team-based mechanics and customizable loadouts that allow them the freedom to play however they want to.
However, after a few changes to the meta weapons and attachment, players have found that attachment provides almost no additional benefit, leaving many of them questioning the impact on the game’s meta.

The community is very shocked as before some of the barrels could reduce recoil by a great amount but this patch has made them useless. Players feel that their loadouts need to be changed again as certain attachments are useless now.

With the recent updates to the game, one thing is clear: the game’s meta doesn’t remain stable for long so players will need to adapt quickly as well. This is a good thing but making a specific attachment lose all of its usefulness is something Ubisoft needs to look into.
