Chad Stahelski On John Wick: Chapter 5

Chad Stahelski is an American stuntman and film director who rose to fame after he got involved in the John Wick franchise. With his expertise in the action genre and contributions to the franchise, Stahelski has become synonymous with the John Wick movies, and his involvement has been instrumental in making John Wick a success. Stahelski shared disappointing news regarding the fifth installment of the franchise.

“It’s very flattering for them to come back and, you know, say ‘We want more’ and it’s not just a cash grab. It’s legitimately the audience wants more. I think we all need that little bit of time to go, ‘Whew. Let’s see what’s next.’ … If Keanu and I, a few months from now, sit down at a whiskey bar in Japan again and go, ‘Yep, we’ll never do another one of those,’ and then all of a sudden go, ‘Yeah, but I got an idea,’ we’re open to it.”

Basil Iwanyk On The Future Sequels Of The John Wick Franchise

Basil Iwanyk is a renowned American film producer, who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Iwanyk produced the first John Wick movie in 2014, and the subsequent sequels, which have all been commercial successes. Iwanyk revealed his opinions on the comeback of the franchise with its fifth installment. The producer of the franchise said that the story of the legendary hitman will not be stretched unnecessarily in any fashion, but the story will be back if the fans demand it.

“Just on a personal level, we can’t break up the band yet. If the movie does really well, and people love it, and if there’s a germ of idea, we’ll entertain it. We’re so far away from that. I’m not saying there will be a sequel by any stretch, but if there is a world where we can find a story, we’ll explore that.”
