Just before the release of Elliot Page’s memoir Pageboy: The Memoir, the actor’s revelations are already making waves on the internet. The Inception actor wrote about a homophobic incident that he came across in Los Angeles. The 36-year-old actor claimed that he met a famous actor at a birthday party in Los Angeles and he told him that there is nothing like the Gay community.

There is a chapter in Page’s memoir that is named Famous A–hole at Party, and while writing about this encounter with the actor, the Whip It actor wrote,

“You aren’t gay. That doesn’t exist. You are just afraid of men. I’m going to f*ck you to make you realize you aren’t gay.”

Page also mentioned in the same chapter that he again met the unnamed famous actor at the gym after he made some offensive remarks about him. The Hard Candy actor said, the actor came up to him and said, “I don’t have a problem with gay people, I swear.” Page responded by saying that “I think you might.” This is one of the biggest revelations made by Page in his memoir. Netizens are trying to dig more.

Page also claimed that he is purposely not mentioning the actor’s name, but said the actor will know that he is talking about him. The Canadian actor said in another statement that it’s not just him who has to go through such moments while being a part of the LGBTQIA community. He mentioned that there are many other queer and trans people who have to deal with issues such as because of homophobic people. While talking about the homophobic environment in Hollywood, the 36-year-old actor said,

“I’ve had some version of that happens many times throughout my life. A lot of queer and trans people deal with it incessantly. These moments that we often, like, don’t talk about or we’re supposed to just brush off, when actually it’s very awful.

He further added,
