During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the actress opened up about growing up in the glam world of Hollywood. Talking about her childhood, she shared that she was very good friends with Hugh Hefner’s children and would often spend time playing with them in the Playboy Mansion. She said,
“At the Playboy Mansion, you could order any food you wanted. I would order pounds of mashed potatoes and peas.”
Hugh Hefner, the founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy magazine, was known to be very good friends with the Hollywood star Jack Nicholson. There are several stories about The Departed star’s experiences at the mansion, with one claiming that underground tunnels connected Nicholson’s house to the Playboy Mansion.
What Inspired Lorraine Nicholson to Join Show Business?
During a recent interview, the actress also opened up about being surrounded by several Hollywood stars since the moment she was born. Nicholson shares that she has seen her father playing golf and howling and attacking the car as he prepared for his role in the 1994 film Wolf.
Talking about what inspired her to join the show business, she shared that she was surrounded by artists growing up and decided to follow the same as well. “Everybody around me were performers, it didn’t even occur to me to do anything else,” she shared in a conversation with Vanity Fair. She made her debut alongside her father in Something’s Gotta Give and has made several on-screen appearances since.
