Michelle Pfeiffer, the talented and versatile actress, has recently spoken about her experience with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Pfeiffer, who stars in the upcoming film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, spoke about her initial reluctance to sign on to the franchise without seeing a script.
Appearing on The Tonight Show, Pfeiffer discussed the secrecy surrounding the project and how she had to commit without seeing anything.

This means that actors must sign on without knowing the full details of the project they are committing to. For Pfeiffer, this was a challenge, but she eventually decided to join the cast of Ant-Man.
“You don’t really know what you’re getting into. And then you get a script sort of right before you start shooting and it all changes. And then it changes every day.”
In 2018, director Peyton Reed spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about Pfeiffer’s involvement in the film. Reed shared that the actress warned him that she could get cold feet, as she had tried to back out of every film she had ever made. However, despite her initial reservations, Pfeiffer eventually joined the cast, which includes Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Jonathan Majors.
Ant-Man 3 Will Be An Adventure
The highly anticipated Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is just around the corner. This will be the third installment in the Ant-Man franchise, and fans are eager to see what the film has in store for them. The first two films, Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp were well-received by audiences and critics alike, and it is expected that the third film will be no different.
The film’s cast and crew have been tight-lipped about the storyline, but fans are hoping to see more of Pfeiffer’s character, Janet Van Dyne, and the adventures of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Pfeiffer’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a testament to her versatility as an actress. The MCU has become a cultural phenomenon, and no one is seemingly exempt from it.
The franchise is known for its secrecy, with details about the films and their storylines often kept under wraps until the last minute. This is done to preserve the story’s integrity and prevent spoilers from leaking. However, this level of secrecy can be challenging for actors like Pfeiffer.
Despite this, Pfeiffer’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a testament to her versatility as an actress. Throughout her career, Pfeiffer has shown that she can tackle any role and bring nuance and depth to her performances.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will hit theatres on February 17, 2023.
