But while other celebrities might have enjoyed their time chatting away with Rogan, Commando star Arnold Schwarzenegger is yet to even acknowledge the possibility of appearing on the JRE. Whether his silence is a sign of indifference or a subtle hint of rejection, only The Terminator knows.

Joe Rogan invited Arnold Schwarzenegger on his podcast

Back in 2013, when Joe Rogan found out that the now-retired professional bodybuilder had followed him on Twitter, his joy was unrestrained. In fact, Rogan was so ecstatic about it all that he ended up sending an intensely informal invite to Arnold Schwarzenegger, summoning him as a guest on his podcast.

The 55-year-old has had his name associated with combat sports for quite a while now. Not to mention, Rogan has welcomed a number of athletes and sports figures including famous names like Mike Tyson, Eddie Bravo, and Lance Armstrong, to name a few. So, having a 7-time Mr.Olympia would certainly be a massive win for the JRE. Besides, Schwarzenegger being Rogan’s idol only makes it that much more worthwhile for the latter.

Ten years later though, the former Governor of California still hasn’t responded to Rogan’s proposal to this very date.

Joe Rogan Has Sung High Praise of Arnold Schwarzenegger

Despite Schwarzenegger not even responding to Rogan’s invite, let alone appearing on the podcast, the 55-year-old comedian has always thought highly of his childhood idol.

Time and again, Rogan has expressed his admiration and respect toward the Predator star as he gushed on about him being a bodybuilding legend. He’s even discussed Schwarzenegger with some of his other guests who were featured on the JRE. In one of his episodes, Rogan also talked about how Schwarzenegger could go up against modern bodybuilders and still emerge undoubtedly victorious.

But it looks like the appreciation is reciprocated after all. Back in 2019, when the podcaster debated on the array of benefits associated with a vegan-based diet for athletes, the Austrian and American actor lauded his willingness to keep a fresh perspective on things. “Joe, I just want you to know I’m proud of you for always having an open mind and being willing to listen and change your mind about some things,” Schwarzenegger wrote on his Instagram.

So, even if the Total Recall actor hasn’t shown up on Rogan’s podcast yet, at least he acknowledged him. That’s certainly a step up for the latter.
