Actor Terrence Howard was last seen in the biopic Shirley as Arthur Hardwick Jr. The actor has worked on quite a few projects despite announcing his retirement plans back in 2022. However, while the Iron Man star gears up to hang his coat, he has also reportedly been working on himself and has undergone a boy transformation.
In his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Howard spoke about changing his diet and detoxing from the ‘parasites’ in his body. He credited his wife, Miranda Pak, to have encouraged him to work on himself and change his habits. He mentioned that since they met, Howard has had many changes that have led him to look much younger than his age.

Terrence Howard broke into the scene with the films Dr. Holland’s Opus and Dead Presidents. The actor got his big break from the films and was cast in multiple TV roles until he gained fame through his Oscar-nominated film Hustle & Flow. The actor was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor and he even won the Oscar for Best Original Song.
Howard is probably best known for his brief role as James Rhodes in the Robert Downey Jr. starrer Iron Man. The actor was set to have a bigger role as War Machine in the sequels but was let go in favor of Don Cheadle in the MCU. According to Howard, he reportedly left the role after he was asked to take a pay cut in favor of Downey Jr. for the sequel (via Bravo TV).
Terrence Howard has since starred in the show Empire and has appeared in other TV shows and films. The actor spoke about his body transformation recently when he appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Howard can be seen receiving an alert from his phone to take his detox medication which he credits his wife Miranda Pak to have scheduled. He said,
I’m 55 years old and I smoke. Do I look 55?… I was 256 pounds when my wife met me. Now, I am intermittent fasting. I’m following her routine. But she turned me from that [picture from years ago] into this. It’s like she shined me up.
The podcast’s host Joe Rogan seemed to agree with the actor and said, “You look about 15 years younger”, to which Howard again credited his wife. He mentioned that despite his change in diet and other changes, he still smokes cigarettes.
Terrence Howard Credits his Wife For Settling Him
While Terrence Howard has been married multiple times, according to his statements on The Joe Rogan Experience, his wife Miranda Pak seems to have contributed to many changes in his life. The Iron Man star and Pak reportedly got married in 2013, before divorcing in 2015. However, the actor reportedly proposed to her again in 2018 and the two have been together since (via USA Today).
The two reportedly share two children together, one born in 2015 and the other in 2020 (via People). Howard and Pak’s relationship timeline has been extremely confusing due to their consistent on-and-off again nature. The couple reportedly met in 2013 and according to Pak, the actor approached her while she was with a dining companion (via Rolling Stone).
Howard has credited Pak with helping him settle. The actor has been accused of domestic violence and has also had multiple failed marriages in the past. He spoke about his state of mind after meeting Pak in an interview with People,
Two weeks after meeting Mira, I gathered up things associated with my past and found a nice hill, and buried them all there. Mira settled me. I still have growing to do. I just hope the mistakes I make now are smarter mistakes.
