Renamed from New World Order, the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World will star Anthony Mackie as the new Captain America while the actor’s initial role in MCU will be transferred to Danny Ramirez, who will be shown as the successor of the Falcon after being his fan for a long time.

“What other major comic book figure has enough of a presence to have his own movie? So when they hit me up and they were like, ‘Yo, so it’s Sam Wilson,’ I’m like, ‘Really?'”

Irrespective of what the reason may be, fans and even critics believe that no one could’ve played the Falcon’s role better than Anthony Mackie. While Mackie will now be roleplaying Captain America’s character, he might not be the one to lead the returning Avengers, as hinted by the actor himself. However, since it’s unconfirmed as of now, fans will have to wait and see how everything turns out.

The upcoming movie Captain America: Brave New World is set to release on 26th July 2024.
