After Hiromi Higuruma’s death, Yuta Okkkotsu is the only Jujutsu sorcerer who can fight Ryomen Sukuna head-on in Jujutsu Kaisen. After Sukuna takes over Megumi Fushiguro’s body, he is on a path of destruction and bringing back Heian-era vibes where every sorcerer fears him to their core. Killing Satoru Gojo was just the start of his rampage.
After Satoru Gojo, he killed Kashimo Hajime and Hiromi Higuruma. But none of them could land any decisive blows on the King of Curses. On top of that, Sukuna has regained his strongest form from a thousand years ago. But Yuta Okkotsu could prove to be a major hindrance in his path if he gains access to a particular power. It would make him much stronger than Satoru Gojo.
Rika Orimoto Could Be Yuta Okkotsu’s Ultimate Trump Card
Yuta Okkotsu can control Rika Orimoto’s Cursed Spirit. She is one of the special grade curses and is named the Queen of Curses. Like Yuta’s copy ability, she can copy techniques of sorcerers or Cursed Spirits that she has consumed. During the fight between Hiromi Higuruma and Ryomen Sukuna, the former was improving as the fight went on.

Hiromi Higuruma has a special weapon, the Executioner’s Sword, created from his Cursed Energy. He was using it to fight against the King of Curses. In one such instance, he cut off one of his wrists, and it impressed Sukuna. Even though Sukuna grew his wrist through the Reversed Cursed Technique, the cut-off part stayed on the ground.
If Rika Orimoto were to consume it, it would give her immeasurable power. She is already a special grade, consuming a body part of Sukuna that, too, from his original self, will be more than enough to make Yuta Okkotsu the strongest sorcerer, surpassing Satoru Gojo. The King of Curses has several abilities under his sleeves, and Rika could get access to each one of them. It could prove to be a massive boost against their upcoming battles.
Satoru Gojo Predicted Yuta Okkotsu Would Surpass
Yuta Okkotsu’s unique innate ability allows him to copy any cursed technique. It does not matter whether the technique is a common one or passed down through a particular lineage he can copy them all. In Jujutsu Kaisen 0, he copied Toge Inumaki’s Cursed Speech Technique against Suguru Geto. Satoru Gojo mentioned Yuta Okkotsu to be one of the few Jujutsu sorcerers to surpass him one day.
But Satoru Gojo is dead, and Yuta shoulders the hope of the Jujutsu world. The Culling Games are still going on. Until a decisive winner, the game would continue, and Ryomen Sukuna going on a rampage could be harmful to every person including normal people. But if Rika Orimoto’s Cursed Spirit consumes Sukuna’s wrist, it would give them the edge over the King of Curses.
Ryomen Sukuna has yet to show his true potential, and slashes are not the only thing in his arsenal. It will be interesting to see the King of Curses clash with the Queen of Curses. With Yuta Okkotsu there to guide Rika and direct her attacks, along with his Copy Technique, it could be a fifty-fifty fight between the two. Gojo would be proud to see his students surpassing him.
