DC has been messing up lately when it comes to creating a plan for its important characters. Previously, DC gave out some great movies which fans have loved for years. Some of them include Man Of Steel, Aquaman, Justice League, Batman V Superman, and others. Recent reports suggest that Justice League was supposed to happen after Superman’s film. But it needed time and perfection to bring a treat to the audience’s eyes.

The idea was eventually dropped, but Zack Snyder had a film in mind which could have come after Man of Steel. Even though Henry Cavill has hung up his cape, in the past, he did have some ideas on when he thought was the right time to do the Justice League film.

Man of Steel introduced Henry Cavill’s Superman to the world and he indeed became a fan favorite in no time. In past interviews, Cavill has often expressed his thoughts on his character and DCEU in general. As an actor, he knew Justice League will come after his superhero film. But he wanted Justice League to be done in the right way and with a lot of thought. As he believed setting up the God-like superhero stories ahead will play an important role in achieving a great movie.

“Justice League could be great if done correctly. It’s a very tough one to do because the DC comic heroes are all god-like in their power. So in this real-world universe, the real-world setting we’re telling our story in, it’s going to be tough to achieve that.”

Zack Snyder too had some plans about his own helmed Superman film. He gave his valuable opinion on the DC Universe to Warner Bros. He suggested setting up a Superman story first and if it works, they can proceed on developing Green Lantern and Aquaman movies later.

The Snyder Cut offered the audience what the 2017 film couldn’t. The four hours movie had various cameos including the Joker, Darkseid, Ryan Choi, and Martian Hunter. But why there was no Green Lantern scene in the film? Well, fans have been asking this question for years because Green Lantern is an equal part of Justice League as the other characters. Snyder even shot some scenes with John Stewart’s Green Lantern in his yard but it didn’t end up in the film.

According to Zack Snyder, it was known that Warner Bros refused to give any resources to do something new with the film. That’s the reason he shot the Green Lantern scene in the yard. But eventually, the scenes were demanded to be removed, even after Snyder threatened to leave making the film.

“I felt bad. Truth is I didn’t want the fans to not have a movie just based on that one stand that I was going to take.”

Zack Snyder’s Justice League scored a box office record of over $657M.
