Sydney Sweeney is a talented actress who has been expressing her passion for acting and how the range of her roles has allowed her to reach massive fame. However, her talent spreads beyond that just acting. Sweeney is a professional when it comes to cars and she has proved how well she can be with some tools and some motivation.
She has gone through the fans giving her both praise and hate. Although, for what she pulled off recently, the actress has gotten nothing but multiple pats on her back. The effort, dedication, skill, and outcome were all tremendous and it is no surprise that Sweeney completely aced it when it comes to automobiles.
Sydney Sweeney Completely Fixed Her Vintage SUV By Herself
Sydney Sweeney has always been open about her love for automobiles. She has a specific attachment to a 1969 Ford SUV. The Bronco was first made public when Sweeney went onto her TikTok account and started documenting the entire process of her slowly fixing the care. Although the account was intended for her family to keep up with her, fans found it soon enough. This hobby fascinated them so much that the videos blew up very quickly.
“I always wanted a Bronco. It was one of my dream cars. I’m obsessed with them. And I scavenged the land for a really good-condition all-original Bronco. It needed a lot of love and a lot of work, but she’s beautiful now.”
While one of her recent updates claimed that the car would be going to get reupholstered, she showed off how it was finally a car that could be driven again. Her latest update, however, was a surprise to her fans as the car was more than ready for just a spin. The car shone a bright candy apple red as it and Sweeney was seen together in eBay’s New York Auto Parts Show at the Classic Car Club of Manhattan.
Sydney Sweeney Had Always Wanted A Vintage Car
Sydney Sweeney explained how her love for cars had been basically a family thing passed onto her. While back in her childhood she could not afford a good car and nor could her family, at the present, she was able to buy two cars back to back.
“I had a family that loved cars. We never had really nice cars, but there was a lot of talk and dreaming of cars. I’ve worked really hard to be able to afford [a vintage car], and I knew that, if I didn’t do it, it wouldn’t happen. I was like, I just have to make that scary jump of purchasing one. I got it off an auction site.”
She confirmed that because her favorite color is baby blue, she wanted to paint over the red. However, the total cost for that was turning out to be around $30,000. So she instead, chose to buy a baby blue mustang. This gave her not only one vintage car but two. She could work on one and enjoy doing what she is extremely passionate about.
