In the Dragon Ball universe, besides Goku and Vegeta, if there is any other Saiyan who is strong enough to lead the series on his own, it is Broly. Initially introduced as a non-canonical villain, Broly became a fan favorite just after his first appearance, and since then, the character has developed quite a big fanbase that is similar to that of Goku and Vegeta.

Not only that, Broly was also made canon with Dragon Ball Super, which instantly hyped up Dragon Ball fans. He recently appeared in the Dragon Ball Super manga, where he was seen training on Planet Beerus and also getting into bouts with characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan in his beast form.

All of this has ignited hopes within the Dragon Ball fans that Broly may follow in the footsteps of Goku and Vegeta and reach the power level of Gods. However, one fan already has shown what Broly’s God mode would like if he ever gets one. Recently, fan art surfaced online that shows Broly finally achieving Super Saiyan Blue.

Broly’s Super Saiyan Blue Looks Extremely Cool

A Dragon Ball fan account called @DBSKAKERU1 on X recently shared fan art where Broly can be seen in the iconic Super Saiyan Blue form with his hair and tail turning blue.

While the Super Saiyan Blue mode looks insanely cool on Broly, the fact that the user created it on the old non-canonical villain Broly makes it even better, considering the fact that Dragon Ball fans’ love for Broly came from the original character.

Broly is a Legendary Saiyan whose power levels are extremely high compared to other Saiyans. Even his Super Saiyan form is different from normal Super Saiyans as it emits a green power surge. Not only that, it provides Broly with an unlimited supply of energy that makes him even stronger and more dangerous than he already is.

On top of that, if the non-canonical Broly could have gotten the Super Saiyan Blue transformation, there was no power in the Dragon Ball universe that could have been able to defeat the Legendary Saiyan. But it is highly unlikely, as Akira Toriyama didn’t even think about the Super Saiyan blue transformation at the time.

Can Broly Get the Super Saiyan Blue Transformation in Dragon Ball Super?

If the upcoming chapters of Dragon Ball Super follow the same narrative as the current one, there is a chance that Broly might get the Super Saiyan Blue transformation. Currently, Broly is following in the footsteps of Goku and Vegeta. He is not only trying to control his Legendary Super Saiyan powers but also unlocking new potential within him.

Therefore, there is a chance for him to unlock the God mode. However, it may not be similar to Goku and Vegeta, as Broly is a stronger variant of the Saiyan species. Even his base form is considered to be stronger than Super Saiyan’s transformation. Thus, his God mode (if he unlocks one) might be completely different from Goku and Vegeta.

If Toyotarou plans on introducing a God mode for Broly, he might have to do it in a different way than Goku and Vegeta. The perfect method might be by channeling his emotions, as it was seen in Dragon Ball Super that Broly’s emotions are the key to his unlimited power, which he sometimes cannot control.

You can watch the Dragon Ball series on Crunchyroll.
