Batman has many iconic lines. From his talk about being the personification of vengeance, or the metaphors about darkness and the night, his dialogues follow a similar tone. On top of the lines that have become popular in the comics, it would seem that every person who played the character added something of their own to his Hall of Fame.
Oftentimes, these additions end up being iconic lines that stick around long after they hang the cape.

The perfect example of this would be Ben Affleck’s portrayal in the SnyderVerse. During his time in the franchise, he created a line that has been deemed one of the greatest in the history of the character.

So much so, that Kevin Conroy, who has played the Caped Crusader more times than anyone can count, gets asked to repeat the line when he meets fans.

Ben Affleck’s Three Words As Batman Become Glorious

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has arguably been referred to as one of the worst movies in the SnyderVerse. Despite this, there is one scene in the film that had a huge impact on fans of Batman. One line that has been regarded by many as one of the most iconic from any live-action version. The scene where Superman threatens Bruce Wayne, and he counters by asking the Kryptonian if he bleeds.

“Tell me something. Do you bleed?” asked Bruce, “You will.”

The line is a perfect indication of the psychology of his character. It showcases his approach towards his enemies. If they can bleed, they are not gods; and if they are not gods, they can be defeated. This goes hand in hand with the callback later in the movie, when Superman asks the same question to the Caped Crusader in the most bone-chilling tone.

Terrifying the audiences who know perfectly, how well Bruce Wayne bleeds. It is safe to say that the line has become iconic for many fans of the character.

During an interview with Starburst magazine, Conroy was asked if he had fans requesting him to repeat the ‘Do you bleed?’ line.

“Oh yeah, I get asked to do that one. And ‘I am vengeance, I am the night’. There are certain iconic lines for me.” said Conroy.

The actor revealed that he is asked this question all the time by fans, as well as other beloved liens from the Caped Crusader. He gave some well-known examples like ‘I am vengeance’, and ‘I am the night.’
