Helldivers 2 was a surprise from Arrowhead Game Studios and not even Sony was prepared for the level of success it had since it launched on the PlayStation 5 and PC. The game underwent several changes but the director is open to more suggestions from the gaming community.
The developers are humble and collaborative with the players and often listen to their complaints and ideas. Pilestedt went on social media and boldly asked the community for their suggestions and some stood out and could be applied to improve the entertainment factor.
Players Came Up with a Good Suggestion for Helldivers 2
Stratagems are a must-have in the field and there was a time when players would race against time and defy the odds to unlock the Mechs which was believed to be the most powerful stratagem at the time, unfortunately, the durability would not compensate for its destructive capabilities and players abandoned them. Pilestedt would often converse with the players and ask for their suggestions and there are a few good ones out there.

Drone swarms as an offensive stratagem would be the perfect way to counter an overwhelming force of hostile closing in on the player’s location and would offer the squad a quick reprieve. Some players backed the idea and thought it would be cool to include them.

The players often complain about the spawn rate of enemies and the developers responded by reverting but did not guarantee when it will be fully in effect. It will take time and as the team is working on a patch to fix these problems, adding a new stratagem doesn’t seem like too much of an ask.
Including new offensive stratagems would spice up the gameplay and give players more options on how to handle a combat situation best. Players can’t always shoot their way out and need to strategize and allocate their resources wisely.
Helldivers 2 Is in Need of New Content and Combat Features
The players are fighting for their lives but manage to do some epic moments that wouldn’t be believed if they weren’t caught on camera. One squad of players coincidentally threw all of their eagle strike stratagems at the same time without coordinating with the rest of the group which led to an iconic threeway eagle strike.
The destructive capabilities of this stratagem were three times more effective. If the developers somehow find a way to incorporate the idea of a drone swarm in the game then it would be a massive help for the players.
The inclusion of new stratagems will give the community something to look forward to and will encourage them to test these new features for themselves. Assessing its efficiency will give the developers a good idea of what to adjust and improve.
Pilestedt is fortunate to have a treasure trove of ideas coming from the community and should not take them for granted. These ideas could secure the future of the game’s relevance in the game industry.
