The fast-paced life of an average super-earth soldier often lands the player in a dire situation that should have never been a possibility to begin with. In a wild creation done by Arrowhead Studios, Helldivers 2 remains one of the best live-service co-op games produced to date, but after months of its release, some players have seemingly resorted to betraying their own.
Griefing remains an unfortunate but common phenomenon in many different games that offer multiplayer. This is the case with the aforesaid title as well, with soldiers having nothing but a particular set of armor to hold any hopes of surviving.

Players have recently been observed making extraordinary use of the DP-40 Hero of the Federation armor, which grants the player a 50% chance to have immunity against a lethal attack. This can often prove to be very handy when needed, much like when a helldiver is going rogue against his own kind.
As mentioned before, griefers remain a huge part of the problem for any video game that offers multiplayer. These players, notoriously known for ruining the experience for many other gamers, have also left a significant mark in Helldivers 2, with the previously mentioned set of medium armor proving to be a great defense against these griefers.

At the end of the day, the real defense against griefers remains a boundary created by the creators of the game themselves, allowing players to efficiently report such nefarious users.
Arrowhead Games Studio, the one responsible for developing the game, has also been working on better community outreach, so the developers can better remain in touch with players and be wary of what’s happening at the ground level of operations.

For those unaware, the CEO of the studio, Shams Jorjani, has announced through his official X/Twitter handle that moving forward, the developers will be staying active on the game’s official channels on Reddit, Discord, and Twitter, providing the community more opportunities to chat and interact with the creators of the game directly.
Bearing in mind how having extensive and direct ties with players has backfired on their faces before, the creators of Helldivers 2 seem to be determined to deliver nothing but the best experience to their player base.
Ultimately, good player outreach is how a studio is able to keep track of what’s buzzing around their games, allowing them to keep up with the latest happenings in the community and what new features gamers might be wanting.
