Helldivers 2 often sees waves of suggestions and feedback made by the community. This is encouraged by Arrowhead in the hopes that the community and devs stay transparent with one another and set greater experiments and content updates to look forward to.
The studio’s founder, Johan Pilestedt often uses Twitter as a platform for community feedback and this time, there have been some great topics of suggestions. When he asked the community about what they’d like to see in the game next, one Helldivers 2 player made an excellent suggestion.
A Game Mechanic That Mimics Dark Knight’s Action Sequence

When Johan Pilestedt asked about suggestions for new eagle stratagem ideas on Twitter, a user (Blake Henry) had an exciting idea that was inspired by The Dark Night. In the movie, there’s a scene where an airplane manages to attach itself to a character with the help of a balloon and ropes.
Based on this, Helldivers 2 could have a stratagem that calls in for a support ship that’s ready to help transport players, or important resources they carry (such as sample containers). Not only does it make objectives easier to complete, but also adds variety to the available catalogue of stratagems in the game.
Johan Pilestedt agreed to this idea, and maybe Helldivers 2 players will see a stratagem that calls in a Fulton surface-to-air recovery system at some point in the game. Although, even though it’s an interesting addition to the game, it may change the learning curve by making players rely on stratgems to complete objectives rather than doing it themselves.
New Stratagems Can Make Helldivers 2 Even Better

Stratagems in Helldivers 2 act as complementary weapons, items or gadgets that help players make the fight easier for themselves. If you ever see a massive nuke-like collision in the middle of the map, it’s likely that someone from the squad called in a 500 kg bomb to obilterate a horde of enemies.
At the same time, you can call in simpler gadgets like a jetpack or extra supplies to make things simpler. All in all, stratagems ensure that helldivers have the best tools in battle that aid them against enemies that threated Managed Democracy.
The future of Helldivers 2 will highly depend on its seasonal updates and balance changes. Even though the game is nearly a perfect live-service experience, there’s a lot the game can do and only time will tell how Arrowhead decides to implement suggestions and feedback provided by the community.
