James Corden got the full Kardashian-Jenner experience when he signed up to be an assistant to Kris Jenner for his The Late Late Show last year. One of his tasks as an assistant was to drive Kim Kardashian to a gas station store to get some gummy bears. Corden was driving Kardashian’s Rolls-Royce Ghost, one of the luxury cars in her $3 million fleet. On his way back, Corden faced the horror of his lifetime when he seemingly scraped the costly Rolls-Royce.
Kardashian played it cool and even laughed at Corden’s scared look, but that didn’t stop her from playing a prank on the host. When they reached the garage, Kardashian got out to check the damages and made him believe that he had done significant damage to the car.
James Corden Thought He Accidentally Scraped Kim Kardashian’s Rolls-Royce And Was Horrified
James Corden is now back on the soil of his home country of Britain after winding up The Late Late Show in 2023. The former television host had an eventful concluding year on his show, including becoming a useless assistant to the Kardashian-Jenner family. However, everything was not just fun for Corden, as he saw his soul leave his body in one particularly horrifying moment.
During his gig as an assistant in the fun segment, Take a Break, he drove Kim Kardashian in her Rolls-Royce Ghost to the nearest gas station store. While Corden and Kardashian were returning from the store, he accidentally scraped the undercarriage at a bump. Corden was clearly scared of what he might have done to the costly car, which was clearly way out of his paychecks.
However, Kardashian laughed it off, and Corden safely parked it in the garage. She then played a prank on the comedian when she feigned horror as she checked out the damage to the car. Corden fell for the prank and immediately ran to check the damage himself, only to realize that Kardashian pranked him.
When the clip was posted to Instagram, fans were impressed with Kardashian’s simple prank. One comment shared that Corden’s bank accounts flashed before his eyes, while others mostly appreciated Kardashian’s sense of humor. The fan reactions read:

For the unversed, Kardashian is quite the auto collector. Her collection is comprised of mostly luxury vehicles, including the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, Lamborghini Urus, and Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC to name a few.
James Corden Had An Otherwise Great Time With The Kardashian-Jenner Family
James Corden made sure that he would never be called back to the assistant gig for Kris Jenner. He started off by making the worst healthy shake for Jenner, as he made a concoction with veggies, white wine, chocolate raisins, apple cider vinegar, and Rice Crispies. He even recreated the famous Kendall Jenner cucumber moment from their TV show, while chopping veggies for the shake.
As expected, Jenner spat out the “f**king vile” shake. He later learned to mix the Kardashian signature salad with Khloe Kardashian. He proceeded to fork-feed her bites of the salad. Kris Jenner later caught a naked Corden while he took a shower in Kylie Jenner’s bathroom. Besides having fun, Corden also got to film an aside for the Hulu series, The Kardashians.
After the conclusion of The Late Late Show last year, James Corden is making a return to theatre in the political drama, The Constituent. It will run at The Old Vic in London starting today.
