When Sol got the more advantageous side, he grabbed his lightsaber and brandished it towards Qimir, attempting to decapitate his head for good, but then Osha stopped him. This scene left the viewers in awe of the actors’ remarkable fight stunts and their acting skills.

It’s easy to see how Lee and Jacinto poured their hearts into this scene. As a newly introduced Jedi master in the Star Wars community, the actor already proved he was perfect for the role. Showrunner Leslye Headland praised him in an interview with NextShark:

Lee Jung-jae knows how to switch from being emotionally available and vulnerable to being completely guarded and in control. He knows how to be formidable and intimidating, and then he can switch to being just absolutely heartbreaking in terms of how fragile he is. I don’t know many actors who can do that.

When asked by Forbes what he thinks is the most challenging part of playing Master Sol, Lee responded, “I’d have to say it was successfully pulling off the role of a Jedi.” To be viewed as a respected Jedi is already a difficult quest because it has to be earned.

The actor is aware that he is portraying a character with almost a 50-year legacy, so he has to maintain consistency. But then, he also wants to give Master Sol his unique identity.

There were also parts about Sol that I had to make up on my own,” he explained. He needed to consider a lot of things to make sure he portrays the character in “both the traditional image of a Jedi and Sol’s individual” simultaneously. Was Master Sol’s move in the latest episode considered Jedi-like? Fans think there’s something dark in here.
