Will Lashana Lynch be joining the X-Men franchise?

Lashana Lynch made her MCU appearance alongside Brie Larson in Captain Marvel, playing the hero’s best friend, Air Force Lieutenant Maria Rambeau. While Rambeau may have died on Earth-199999, Lynch then returned to reprise her role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as well. Only this time around, she got a chance to don the mantle of Captain Marvel of Earth-838.
