There might be trouble in Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s paradise yet again and it looks like ex-wife Jennifer Garner is playing peacemaker between the two. After meeting each other on the set of Pearl Harbor (2001), Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reunited while filming Daredevil (2003) and began dating shortly after.
Eventually, they tied the knot and had three beautiful children together before calling it quits in 2015. While still remaining close to each other, the ex-couple officially filed for divorce in 2017 and it was finalized a year later. Despite their split, they have been on good terms but now, it appears as if Jennifer Garner’s bond with her ex-husband may be causing some trouble in her current relationship.
Jennifer Garner’s Boyfriend is Reportedly Unhappy with Her Thanks to Ben Affleck
Back in October 2018, PEOPLE had confirmed that Jennifer Garner was dating John Miller, the CEO of CaligGroup. And while the two broke up in between, they seem to be going strong now. They were recently spotted taking a walk together in Los Angeles.
However, they now might be facing a bit of a hiccup along the way named Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s marriage. Reports about the couple’s marital problems are always making headlines and ex-wife Garner has reportedly taken it upon herself to try and fix things between Affleck and Lopez.
Thanks to Garner’s involvement in Affleck’s love life, her current boyfriend Miller is reported to be upset with her. An insider told the Daily Mail,
Of course it bothers John that Jen is so hyper focused on her ex-husband. He cares deeply for Ben and sympathizes with what he is going through with Jennifer, but that doesn’t mean Jen should be the one to fix her ex-husband’s issues with his current wife. That makes no sense to anyone.
According to the insider, Miller is as understanding as one can be when it comes to their partner’s exes. And while he wants nothing more than Affleck to be okay, Garner shouldn’t be acting like his babysitter. The source told the publication that the Justice League actor’s marriage is something he must figure out himself.
Jen is such a caring and wonderful woman and mother and there is nothing but a deep friendship and bond between her and Ben. John wants nothing more than for Ben to be okay, but it isn’t his girlfriend’s responsibility to play babysitter to him. That is for Ben to figure out on his own and for his wife to handle. It isn’t Jen’s responsibility, and he has told her this.
Garner’s selfless acts may seem adorable to her fans but could this have a nasty effect on her relationship with Miller? Well, according to the insider, everything seems to be okay with the two.
This Hasn’t Affected Jennifer Garner and John Miller’s Relationship Negatively
There was a huge chance that Garner’s attention toward Affleck and Lopez’s relationship may have caused a drift between her and Miller, but so far it looks like things have been pretty calm.
According to the insider, Miller prefers to stay out of the equation as it is none of his business, and talking about your girlfriend’s ex can get messy. However, they added that despite all this, Miller and Garner’s relationship hasn’t been affected negatively.
John stays out of it, he knows it is none of his business, so he keeps away from all of that, because who wants to talk about their ex more than you have to. But Jen can’t get away from it because it is everywhere. It doesn’t affect her current relationship or her life in a negative way
On the other hand, Affleck seems to be mindful of Garner’s boundaries as well. While the Yes Day actress has made it clear that she is available for him whenever he wants to vent, Affleck apparently doesn’t want to be a burden on her and prefers to talk about their children instead.
Jen is monitoring it all and she has told Ben time and time again, they can talk about anything, and she will be there for him to vent. But Ben never wants to burden her and will instead just talk to her about the kids and what the kids need.
