As of now, there is no way to unlock other Mythic skins without paying real money as players can only choose 1. The Mercy Mythic costs 80 Mythic Prisms, and players must buy the 100 currency bundle that costs $74.99 in order to get the skin instantly.

As the latest season of Overwatch 2 rolled out, it allowed players to unlock old Mythic skins using a new method. By accessing the Mythic Shop from the Shop tab on the main menu or the Battle Pass screen, players can choose to buy a base Mythic skin, which costs 50 Mythic Prisms. These Mythic Prisms are a new currency that has been added to the game and as players progress through the battle pass, they will gather enough Mythic Prisms to max out a Mythic skin.

By the 48th tier, players will have enough Mythic Prisms to unlock the base version of the Mythic you want from the Mythic Shop. By the 78th tier, players will be able to unlock the rest of the customizations for that particular Mythic skin. Since this is the first season that introduced this new method, fans can only unlock one Mythic skin, unless they prefer to spend money.

Every mythic skin requires 80 Mythic Prisms to max out and as per Forbes, if you want to buy a Mythic bundle, you’ll have to buy the 100 pack, which costs $74.99. To put things into perspective, Arrowhead Game Studios’ popular co-op game Helldivers 2 costs $40 on Steam. This new method is indeed more expensive than the old method as players could just buy a battle pass for $10 and grind until they get the Mythic skin.

So players will have to spend $74.99 for each Mythic skin in the game. In the latest battle pass, players can unlock Vengeance Mercy Mythic and we would suggest that you get to work right now as the skin will be vaulted for two seasons after the end of this season, then it’ll return to the Mythic Shop. As of now, the most economical way to unlock Mythic skins is to complete the battle pass as players will have enough for a fully upgraded Mythic skin.
