The singer performed several songs from Scarlet, her album that came out last year. This list included hits like Demons and Attention. Through her fiery set, Doja Cat proved that she is one of the most powerful rappers in the present-day music scene, and she is unashamed of singing about desire and even power.
While the Need to Know artist showed that she could hold the audience’s attention like no other, one song from her setlist at the event went viral. It was her choreography in the mud bath.
Doja Cat’s performance has become the talk of the town, and not for the best reasons
One of the songs that the rapper performed was Wet Vag**a. It revolves around self-confidence, and being able to embrace one’s sexuality. The artist went all out during this performance, as she lathered herself in mud while twerking to the beats of the song.
She performed in the mud all by herself for a minute, before backup dancers also joined her and got drenched in the mud. Doja Cat managed to truly embody the song and the meaning that she tried to convey through her performance onstage.
Unfortunately, not everyone was happy. A lot of men took to social media to criticize her, feeling that artists tend to focus everywhere except on music.
