Fight for Democracy in Helldivers 2 never seems to slow down as divers are making short work of yet another major order. The latest order was to kill 2 billion Terminids, and they were being decimated by divers as soon as the order went live.
This is nothing new, of course, and divers who have been around for a while would know just how easily these targets get achieved when players from all the regions log in through the day. Helldivers 2 ranks among the top 10 most played games every 24-hour cycle, beating several popular titles, as players are making major orders far too easy to complete, being quite active throughout the day.
Major Orders in Helldivers 2 Has Become a Routine for Divers
Earlier today, a new Major Order went live, giving players a target of eliminating two billion Terminids within the next six days. The order’s description reads,
The Automaton invasion has slowed, thanks to valiant defense efforts. We must take this chance to refill out E-710 reserves in order to stage a counter-offensive.
Major orders have never lasted more than the first two or three days. The latest order also looks set for completion in record time, as divers managed to decimate well over 100 million Terminids within the first hour.
The players had already achieved more than half the target, leading one Reddit user to question if Arrowhead may have underestimated their abilities.

Once the target is achieved, players will get this week’s reward, which is mentioned as 45 medals. The players had three Terminid planets to liberate and complete the overall target, including Estanu, Hellmire, and Oshaune. A short while ago, one user posted the liberation of Estanu.
Divers recently eradicated the bots and contained the bugs in the game, which was no small feat. Last week’s major order gave players the target to “destroy the forces of robots for good” and the divers took it upon themselves to complete the target after a long fight.
Latest Major Order All Set to Be Completed in 24 Hours
At the time of writing this, more than 72% of the target has already been achieved by players, leading several players to post a bunch of memes on Helldivers’ official Reddit page.
The progress is being shared by players on the Reddit page, along with a lot of funny takes about the timeline of six days. At the moment, it looks highly likely that it wouldn’t need more than a day at the rate it’s going.

The rate at which the target is being taken down has surprised other players as well. Some of the players are wondering if they are cheating of some sort or if it’s a bug.

There’s a lot of new content expected to come to Helldivers 2, as players prepare for the Illuminate faction to make their debut at any time. Until then, players are down the Terminids and preparing for what’s to come next.
