Sofía Vergara rose to stardom for her role as Gloria Pritchett in Modern Family, but before this fame, she started as a model gracing cover girl calendars. The Colombian star is very grateful to have found her success and she owed it to her physical beauty.
While Vergara used her body to her advantage, it was a different case for Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney. The actress, who also possesses a voluptuous frame, used to feel insecure about her front.
Sofía Vergara Recalls How Her Body Launched Her Career In Hollywood
In an interview with El Pais, actress Sofía Vergara took a trip down memory lane and shared how she got her footing in Hollywood.
My giant b**bs and my body opened doors for me; they were my passport to the world when I was 20 years old when I started as a model, but today I’m 51 years old, and I’m still here.
She admits not feeling afraid to take risks and works harder than anyone else. The actress also pointed out that she has got an interesting personality that one can see right through the screen.
Even though there will always be women who are younger and prettier than her, she takes pride in the fact that she has proven why she has been in the business for years. “I’m still around because I have demonstrated that I can stay,” she quipped.
Vergara recalled how men treated her back in the day. “When I was very young, since high school, the boys have all wanted to be with me,” she stated. Because of this, she realized that people treat beautiful folks differently.
She insisted that she found out her strengths at a young age and she used them to pave her way to success. Indeed, Vergara embraced her body with confidence. However, she warned, “But if you only see my b**bs, then that’s your problem.”
One can easily see that the Griselda star is quite comfortable in her own skin from the start, which is truly a great thing to hear from a very influential person. Another actress with the same physique, Sydney Sweeney, sadly did not feel as confident as Vergara.
Sydney Sweeney Almost Got Chest Reduction Surgery
In an interview with Glamour, Sydney Sweeney admitted she felt uncomfortable growing up with large bosom. She revealed being ahead of anyone in her batch, and this made her feel awkward.
When I was in high school, I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my b**bs were. I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a b**b job to make them smaller.
Her mother warned her against the idea of decreasing the size of her chest. Eventually, the Madame Web star learned to love the gift given to her. She advises young women to “flaunt what you got” and “love them.”
Finally, Sweeney wants to be a role model to girls and to embrace their own bodies and see how empowering it is to have been blessed with more curves.
