Star Wars: The Bad Batch, debuted with an astonishing new storyline back in 2021. Thanks to the dynamic camaraderie of Clone Force 99, the series is a favorite of many among the plethora of other animated Star Wars series. Based on a squad of genetically enhanced soldiers in a galaxy torn by war and uncertainty, the saga of the Bad Batch is finally coming to an end.
Envisioned as a three-season story, the series’ last season finale is just hours away. The episodes so far have been as incredible as always, and the stakes for Clone Force 99 are as high as ever. With season 3 finale about to be aired, there is a possibility that we might see yet another character meeting their end, similar to Tech’s devastating death in season two of The Bad Batch.
Another Beloved Character Might Die in Star Wars: The Bad Batch
Season 2 of The Bad Batch saw the unfortunate death of Tech, one of the core members of Clone Force 99. Voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, the character was the computer and weapons genius of the team, known and loved for his sense of humor.
While fans were left devastated, there is a high chance that they will get another devastating blow in season 3’s final episode. Similar to Tech’s death, Star Wars fans might witness the death of Crosshair.
A villain for much of the last two seasons, Crosshair’s allegiance lied with the Empire until he finally realized their true evil nature. Throughout season 3, Crosshair, also voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, has turned into an interesting character with his relationship with Omega fast-growing
As this is supposed to be the last ever episode of the entire Bad Batch saga, and the stakes being as high as ever with Omega captured, there is a high possibility that one character might end up dead. And since, Crosshair, in the last season, has turned into a prominent character, his death seems inevitable for he might sacrifice himself while trying to save others.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch- What Next?
Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3 will come to an end with its last and 15th episode, The Cavalry Has Arrived. Releasing on May 1 worldwide, the episode will feature the Bad Batch locating Mount Tantiss and trying to rescue Omega, while Crosshair comes across his former ally, Edmon Rampart.
Expected to be a bit more than 4 Doc McStuffins (see X), the finale is being eagerly awaited by fans. Yet, what many of them have been wondering is what will be next after The Bad Batch. Since, it was The Clone Wars season 7 that eventually led to the creation of The Bad Batch, fans have been envisioning that the series finale might set off another arc leading to yet another Star Wars series.
Even Michelle Ang, the voice of Omega, had stated that her character was set up with the possibility of a very large future (see The Holo Files). With such prospects and an unusually long finale, fans can hardly wait to witness the Bad Batch in action, for the last time.
