Call of Duty recently launched a new party skin in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. The Killer Serial Creep Party Pack includes an operator skin giving multiple XP bonuses whenever at least two members in a party have equipped the skin.
However, the pack has received a lot of flak and has sparked controversy among the community. The criticism is mainly for the Operator skin which depicts a blonde man wrapped in cloth and sporting eyeglasses.
Call of Duty has a Jeffrey Dahmer skin?
The new Call of Duty Killer Serial Creep party pack received criticism from several players for its alleged resemblance to real-life serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer. Several fans quickly made comparisons to Dahmer, the infamous serial killer. Many fans were of the opinion that it was distasteful and insensitive for Activision to include an Operator skin based on a real-life murderer.
Several users even voiced their disappointment with the makers on the issue. A user named ‘JaayD’ posted a side-by-side picture of Dahmer alongside a picture of the new skin.
mfs was so mad bout call of duty adding a lil bit of weed theme shit to the game but I don’t see anyone talking bout this weird serial killer pack they just added??? THATS DEAD ASS JEFFERY DAHMER AS A BUYABLE SKIN IN CALL OF DUTY ???? HUHHHHH??? pic.twitter.com/4A6aE35Jcu

Another user named ‘Channy’ went on to say that through the new skin, Call of Duty is “‘glorifying serial killers.” They also questioned how the skin even got approved.
Are we deadass COD??? How did this Dahmer/Gacy looking ass operator get approved?? Glorifying serial killers is insane… Atleast make a fictional character, It’s very clear that it was inspired by real serial killers/rapists… They clearly didn’t think this one through. Yikes.. pic.twitter.com/POUNJBpXRS

The Killer Serial Creep party pack is available in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone in-game stores currently. Players get an Operator skin, weapon blueprints, and in-game accessories at a price of 1,600 Call of Duty Points or CP. It also offers an XP boost for parties having two or more players.
Players come in support of Call of Duty
While the new Killer Serial Creep party pack was criticized by many, there were fans who also came out in support of the game. These fans defended the new skin saying it nowhere resembled the serial killer.

On the other hand, there were several fans who pointed out that more than Dahmer, the skin resembles Riddler from the new Batman movie.
That’s the riddler from the new Batman movie..not the legend Dahmer.

A Call of Duty dataminer ‘ForwardLeaks’ went on to say that if if at all the skin did resemble Dahmer, it shouldn’t be a cause for concern. They suggest that Activision and other game developers creating characters inspired by real-life murderers and criminals is not new.
1: The skin isnt based off of Jeffrey Dahmer
2: If it WAS based off of him, that shouldn’t really matter..?
all of the skins below are based off of horror movies who based the characters off of real life murders/murderers https://t.co/jYlxwzMcIz pic.twitter.com/MCCq7xtx5Y

Activision has maintained silence over these allegations and is yet to respond. Meanwhile, the Killer Serial Creep party pack continues to be available on the store.
