Fallout‘s got a new trailer recently for its TV show; by the looks of it, it is already doing justice to the franchise. Players may have speculated certain things after consuming every bit of the post-apocalyptic world that was shown in the trailer. But if they turn their heads to the conversations and details emerging on the internet, they might as well know the potential ending the show’s developers could be going with.
The TV adaptation of the popular dystopia-focused franchise will follow the story of a Vault Dweller called Lucy (played by Ella Purnell) who is likely to be mentored by Walton Goggins’ Ghoul. Apart from that, it will also feature the Brotherhood of Steel, a quasi-religious technocratic military order featured in all the games.
The House Story Arc Appears Imminent in Fallout
If the cast and crew listed on IMDb are anything to go by, the creators of the show might already have chosen the show’s ending. Fallout’s page showcases NCIS (2003) and Shameless (2011) actor Rafi Silver in the role of Robert House, a central character in Fallout: New Vegas.
This has sparked a debate on the social network Reddit as the show’s release closes. “Does this confirm house ending to new vegas or is this gonna be a flashback?,” massimopilote enquired.

However, this must be taken with a grain of salt as the IMDb page can be edited. Apart from lead characters already shown in the trailer, other mentioned names might not even make it in the show upon the launch.
IMDb may not have got the cast right but the show appears to have got things right, that’s at least what we can say about the show after watching the trailer. From factions to the settlements, it appears like a world taken straight out of the game.
There’s Another Ending That’s Viable For The Show
Players are given four choices in the game that decide the fate of the game’s storyline. Of the four, Robert House’s ending is arguably the best ending there is. If The Courier chooses to abide by this storyline, he ensures New Vegas is advanced according to Robert’s vision. Moreover, fans argue that it is the best chance for humanity’s survival.
Moreover, in this particular ending, Robert Hoover ends up taking control of almost all of the Mojave Wasteland. However, in one of the endings where The Courier uses Yes Man, a reprogrammed Sucuritron, he ensures that New Vegas and the Mojave Wasteland remain independent of anyone trying to shed control over the region.
The Independent ending appears to be much more viable for the show given that it will have a chance to involve everyone appearing in the New Vegas timeline. However, none of the characters are mentioned in the IMDb list so the creators may only include the House story arc.
