This time, TeaserPlay showed the game prototype based on the 2019 film. The prototype has been developed using the Unreal Engine 5 and shows an open-world setting. In the prototype, we get to see several iconic scenes from the movie. It shows us the Joker’s signature walk and his appearance on the Murray Franklin show.

The prototype also features the subway and the stairs, and tries to do justice to the hit movie. However, after the game prototype was posted online, many seemed upset. Some people took to social media platform X, to talk about the prototype.

Unlike the movie, fans don’t seem to be too excited about getting an open-world game for Joker. However, there are also a few who are happy to see a Joker game and took to X to talk about it.

While this is just a prototype, we still need to wait and see if Warner Bros. actually thinks of something like this, and releases a game down the line.

Games on DC characters

DC characters coming to video games are not new to fans. The first character to get a game was Superman. The game was called Superman and was released in 1979. From then, there has been no looking back. To date, several DC games have come to the market.

Getting to play as our favorite DC characters is fun. When we talk about the best DC character games, one cannot forget to mention the Batman Arkham series. We also got to see Superman in several hit games such as Superman: Shadow of Apokolips and Justice League: Heroes.

There are also other hit games such as Injustice: Gods Among Us, Injustice 2, and Batman: The Enemy Within to name a few. However, not all DC character games have been a success.

Games such as Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis which came out in 2003, failed to impress many. Additionally, games such as Batman: Dark Tomorrow, Batman Forever, and Catwoman, to name a few also didn’t go well with the fans.
