Kobe Bryant taught successful A-listers, athletes, and entertainers a system to go from the top to over-the-top in a funny ad for Nike. Taking a dig at motivational speakers in the presence of the great Tony Robbins, Bryant went on to say some absolutely rubbish things in the hilarious ad. His deadpan expressions were the highlight of the ad.

Bryant motivated the most accomplished individuals in front of him to go beyond their success and find “more” success. Bryant made his point at the start of the video, stating:

You’re at the top and you don’t need anyone’s advice…that’s why I know you need mine. This is the Kobe System.

Once the former L.A. Laker explained the system, and he turned to the crowd for questions. Kanye West was the first one to have a question, asking, “What if you’re really successful?”. Bryant’s answer was an unclear explanation involving dinosaurs and meteors that made no sense to anyone.

When Serena Williams confusingly asked, “What does it have to do with my backhand?”. Bryant showed her another nonsensical video, which made Williams even more confused and rendered her speechless.

West and Bryant shared another hilarious back-and-forth during the ad. West asked the basketball legend, “How much more do you want from me?” to which Bryant replied, “More.” The conversation continued until West had no idea what Bryant was talking about.

West: How much more success would you want me to be?
Bryant: More success.
West: How many records can my records break?
Bryant: More records.
West: But… But I’m the best.
Bryant: But are you a different animal and the same beast?
West: What the f**k does that mean, Kobe Bryant?
Bryant: You’re welcome.
West: What the f**k is he talking about?

It was not just Williams and West, who were left speechless by Bryant in the video. Richard Branson, the English businessman and owner of the Virgin Group, claimed that he had successfully gone to the bottom of the ocean and outer space.

Branson shared that he was already having “success at success,” to which Bryant offered him the solution of “success at success at success.”

Nike also shot a follow-up commercial with many of the celebrities who claimed to have used The Kobe System. The hilarious ad featured the celebrities, who appeared in the earlier ad, narrating their fictional experience of using the system.

Serena Williams starts off the ad, stating, “Kobe System completely changed how I see the world” (via bet.com). She further wondered what could be a better achievement with the system, sharing, “Is there anything better than a Grand-er Slam?”

Kanye West also joined the hilarious ad to explain the effect of the system on his life. He, too, now wondered, “What’s after Platinum? What’s higher than the top of the charts?”. West also had a funny testimonial for Bryant’s system, as he shared, “Kobe System is truth…the Kobe System changed my life no doubt.”
