While the MCU does justice to the character and his genius, it is the comic book where the true proof of his genius lies. His one extraordinary invention can be potentially used against Wolverine in Deadpool 3 to end Hugh Jackman’s role in the MCU permanently.
One Tony Stark Weapon That Is Strong Enough To Harm Wolverine
Tony Stark is one of the most intelligent beings in the entire MCU and Marvel’s comic book-verse. From his prowess as a superhero to his resourcefulness, there is hardly anything that he cannot do. But when it comes to his technological prowess, the Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist is basically unstoppable.
This quality of his makes him and the rest of his fellow superheroes fight and defeat the most formidable adversaries. And after all, it was Stark who saved the universe in Avengers: Endgame. On the other hand, Wolverine is one of the deadliest of characters, who can also single-handedly defeat the Hulk (see Giant-Size Old Man Logan #1).
Yet, if Stark was ever to fight the Wolverine, he has one weapon that potentially cause the mutant irreparable damage and even not kill him if used right. In the Execute Program story of Iron Man (Vol. 4) #12, several of Stark’s Argonaut suits rebel when hijacked.
Two of these suits contain adamantium (Battle Argonaut) while the other contains Subterranean Argonaut (Digger or Model 32). Using the Digger, Iron Man effortlessly destroys the Battle Argonaut suit which is made of the same metal as Wolverine’s body.

Tony Stark’s anti-Adamantium suit, or the Digger, is made up of Antarctic Vibranium, a metal that causes such strong vibrations that destabilize other metals including the supposedly most powerful Adamantium. Some metals are affected such that they can even turn into liquid.
After waiting for so long for Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine to show up in the MCU, it would be heartbreaking to have him permanently killed. But since no superhero is without enemies and a hero as powerful as Wolverine is bound to have equally formidable adversaries, Stark’s suit can prove fatal to him.
With Deadpool 3 being potentially Jackman’s last outing as the fan-favorite mutant, Marvel can make use of Tony Stark’s anti-adamantium suit to defeat, harm, or potentially kill Jackman’s version of the character in the MCU for good.
