5. Dante (Devil May Cry)

A charismatic demon hunter is known for his stylish combat, relentless attitude, and vast arsenal of weapons and demonic powers. Dante’s inclusion in Mortal Kombat would introduce a level of flair and combo-heavy gameplay that perfectly complements the franchise’s signature fighting style. Very few people in the world are unaware of the legendary Spartan supersoldier and protagonist of the Halo series, synonymous with futuristic warfare, advanced technology, and unyielding determination. Armed with his iconic MJOLNIR armor and an array of advanced weapons, Master Chief would be an unstoppable force in the Mortal Kombat universe. Master Chief’s technology alone would make for a new look at combat in the arena. Able to activate his energy shield, temporarily absorbing incoming damage and reflecting it back at his opponent. Or firing a burst of high-velocity rounds from his battle rifle, allowing for precision shots from a distance. Master Chief’s cutting-edge technology, superhuman strength, and strategic prowess would make him an unstoppable and imposing presence.

1. Kratos (Again)

Having already appeared in Mortal Kombat 9, since then we have been graced with God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarök. This has given us a new Kratos with a different style of combat, advanced weaponry, and unique design of the character. Just imagine a fatality where Kratos uses the power of the Bifrost to summon a portal to Asgard. He kicks his opponent through the portal, where they are met by the wrath of Norse gods, torn apart in a dazzling display of divine fury. Or Kratos summoning the World Serpent, which engulfs his opponent in its massive jaws, crushing them before retreating back into the depths of the sea.

Kratos’ raw power, relentless combat style, and mythic weapons would make him a dominant and fearsome presence in the Mortal Kombat universe.
