Omni-Man has returned in Invincible Season 2 Part 1 and he may have redeemed himself trying to become good after being the main villain of season 1. The series suggests that some changes have taken place in Omni-Man’s life which has led him to become a good person in some ways. However, in a way, his redemption arc began at the end of season 1 when he decided not to kill his son and flew away.

Fans were somewhat happy to see this twist in the series, however in comparison to anime this redemption story may not be the best. There have been many anime villains who have a better redemption arc than Omni-Man.

Later, to defend Earth and his family, he frequently engaged in combat with the strongest fighters in Universe 7. Because of how compelling his redemption was, he ended up being the second protagonist in the whole series.
