One of the biggest anime series in the world, Attack on Titan finally ended recently after its 10-year-long journey. With one of the best storylines, some of the most intense characters, and the most shocking twists, the anime has managed to make a grand fanbase that not only supported the series through its journey but also helped make the series the pinnacle of the anime world.

1. Reiner and Bertholdt’s Revelation
The identities of Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Hoover were the most shocking revelation. Hange informed the group that Reiner and Bertholdt were most likely the Armoured and Colossal Titans after he had captured Annie. But before the Survey Corps could attempt to apprehend these two men, Reiner decided to use his cards in a desperate attempt to kidnap Eren to convert him to their cause, which resulted in one of the anime’s greatest scenes. Even though the Survey Corps was ultimately defeated, the ensuing battle was exciting to watch.
2. The Charge of Erwin and The Soldiers
One of the most iconic moments of the series is when Erwin reveals his suicide plan to the soldiers before they attack the Beast Titan and the soldiers freeze, some even throw up and wonder what their life is all about while silently accepting their fate in the form of death. He tells them that they are all riding into the sunset. And they’ll never find any significance in what they’re doing by giving their lives.
However, as a result of their sacrifice, others will continue to exist and strive and would light a hope for a better tomorrow. A testament to Erwin’s leadership and strategic acumen, the scene saw his soldiers launch a valiant charge against the Beast Titan, losing many of them in the process.
3. Levi Fighting The Beast Titan
Levi fighting and ultimately defeating the beast Titan is probably one of the best fighting scenes in the entire Attack on Titan series. In an instant, Captain Levi showed off his stunning rotating strike by quickly severing Zeke’s Beast Titan. After murdering every soldier who attempted to approach him or even get close to him, the Beast Titan met his demise at the hands of Levi Ackerman, who quickly defeated him.
The fact that Captain Levi didn’t even give him a chance to reflect or launch an attack demonstrated his true power and the reason he is one of the most adored characters in the show.

4. Eren’s Attack on Liberio
A turning point in Attack on Titan was the Assault on Marley, in which Eren and his allies attacked Marley without warning. There is a horrifying and tremendously liberating moment that ultimately results from Eren telling Reiner about his actions, his sudden transformation into Liberio, and the killing of Willie Tybur right before he declares war on Paradis Island.
This scene showed the change in Eren and it was a truly startling moment. In his Titan transformation, Eren began ominously taking the lives of everyone within the Marley land. In Attack on Titan, this marked the start of the end.
5. The Rumbling
According to legend, King Karl Fritz created the Rumbling as a backup plan to keep the outside world from overrunning Paradis. For a very long time, the rest of the world was under constant threat from The Rumbling. Eren Yeager started it to destroy all of his people’s adversaries to protect them.
By the time the Rumbling was prematurely put an end to by the combined efforts of Paradis Island’s Survey Corps defectors and Marley’s Warrior Unit, about eighty percent of all human life on Earth had ended. It was truly the most iconic and sad moment in the series, as it not only marked the end of the series but also the end of almost the entire population.
