The Marvels has been becoming a sensation, as fans become more and more excited about what this film brings, not only for the stories of Kamala Khan, Monica Rambeau, and Carol Danvers, but for the collective story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and what more will be brought to the plate of very serious additions to be dealt with, celebrated, or cautious about in future project from the franchise.
Amongst these highly anticipated things lies a new possibility, one that has been extremely anticipated since the start of the first phase of this franchise. The X-Men have been highly requested and looked for in every post-credit scene that has come out since Tony Stark revealed his identity to the world and credits rolled around in 2008’s Iron Man. A new teaser trailer was released by Marvel about this film, as it was pointed out by The Direct. In this, there was a header about what comes next. As these texts were fading away, one particular letter stayed a second longer than the others, X.
Kamala Khan Is A Mutant
Kamala Khan’s story would be the perfect gateway to use to introduce the X-Men, or at least part of them, will some members being possibly introduced as her series was where the first mention of mutants happened. This was because she is the first, officially confirmed, mutant in the universe of this franchise.
It Could Help Connect Deadpool 3
Though it has not been known inside the MCU that mutants and the X-Men exist, audiences are well aware that they will be making their debut soon. The biggest reason for this is the upcoming film, Deadpool 3, which is set to bring multiple mutants into the MCU. This film could be used as a soft introduction, making some additions to the universe, before Wade Wilson comes with his army.
Storm May Have Already Been Teased
There is a chance that one of the most well-known X-Men may have already made their way into one of the trailers. The reason for this is the mysterious figure at the end of the trailer who is wearing gold and white clothes. Many have speculated that this could be the weather-controlling mutant.
X-Men Soundtrack
It has also been speculated that The Marvels will feature some songs from the soundtracks of past X-Men movies. The reason for this is the fact that songs from X2: X-Men United and X-Men: Days of Future Past were featured in a press kit for the movie.
