Kevin Costner’s alleged feud with Taylor Sheridan might be the reason behind Yellowstone ending

It is widely known that Taylor Sheridan, who is responsible for several critically acclaimed projects, isn’t fond of any sort of interruption in his vision and is adamant about telling his version of the story. But considering that Kevin Costner is known for pushing to get more creative control over the projects he is involved in, this might haven’t sat right with Sheridan.

Reports have been claiming that conflict between the two giant personalities might be one of the reasons behind the show coming to an end. One source claimed after Costner allegedly raised concerns regarding Sheridan’s direction, he was shut down by the showrunner. The source stated,

“He just felt like ‘Yellowstone’ is headed in a direction that was not in line with their initial vision, and he was met with criticism, including that he should just stick to acting.”

Although these are just speculations with no real weight, it seems reasonable to assume that Costner’s falling out with the series might be a result of creative differences and Sheridan’s alleged ego.

Taylor Sheridan allegedly developed a God Complex after his success

Following Taylor Sheridan’s unreal success behind the lenses and being responsible for creating some of the best TV dramas in recent times, one source claimed that he allegedly developed a “God complex”. Considering that Sheridan was underappreciated for a long while during his time in Hollywood, the success of Yellowstone and its spin-offs allegedly made him a bit egoistic. The source stated,

“Only Taylor truly knows what is going on… and now that he’s the top of the heap, there’s definitely some ego to all of this.”
