Any actor in Hollywood has always had a difficult time playing Superman, especially after the late movie hero Christopher Reeve’s renowned big-screen portrayal of the character in 1978.

Since then, Cavill’s iteration of Superman has returned in 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and the Justice League film in 2017.
