Recently, online commentators have been quite active in shading MCU star, Zendaya by comparing her with Nordic women. A Twitter user shared a picture of the actress along with an unknown blonde girl captioning the thread as “Vogue model / Swedish girl at the metro.”

While many started slamming the actress for using extreme filters or makeup to enhance her look, some made apparent racist remarks. With their continuous trolling, fans couldn’t help but chime in to save their idol.

This is not the first time that the actress had to go through extreme racist trolls. Comparing two different women is entirely absurd since everyone holds their unique charm. While trollers would only want to seek her attention in the wrong way, fans would always have her back. In the past, she faced immense criticism when she was first associated with the Marvel film.

Back in 2016, the Euphoria actor was announced to star in Spider-Man: Homecoming which didn’t fit well with many Spider-Man fans. As soon as they heard about the biracial personality starring as MJ, the love interest of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, online commentators started targeting her.

Many were in disbelief that a non-white Mary Jane without red hair was cast in the franchise however, the criticism didn’t stop her from getting the support and love she deserved for her role.

Even James Gunn gave a bitter taste to haters writing,

“For me, if a character’s primary attribute – the thing that makes them iconic – is the color of their skin, or their hair color, frankly, that character is shallow and s–ks. For me, what makes MJ MJ is her alpha female playfulness, and if the actress captures that, then she’ll work. And, for the record, I think Zendaya even matches what I think of as MJ’s primary physical characteristics – she’s a tall, thin model – much more so than actresses have in the past.”

It was more than a sharp slap on their faces to stop their nonsensical arguments. Eventually, she debuted in the franchise and we all witnessed her potential giving us another reason to love her.
