Starfield Adds a Special Edition Chair to its Growing List of Exuberant Accessories

The list of merch for the upcoming Starfield game is growing exponentially. And with excitement amongst fans ahead of release at an all time high, the latest piece of merchandise announced could raise a few eyebrows.

And it has been confirmed that Bethesda have partnered with a highly respected German furniture manufacturer to commission a Special Edition Starfield gaming chair ahead of the RPG’s launch in a few weeks.

The product itself was unveiled at the recent QuakeCon 2023 in Texas, alongside the surprising announcement that Quake2 Remastered has just been released on Game Pass.

With the release of much anticipated RPG a matter of weeks away, fans are no doubt looking forward to what Merchandise they can pick up. And Bethesda have already whetted the appetite by releasing the first round of merchandise of Starfield gear including; mugs, t-shirts, mousepads notebooks and randomly, a skateboard. All of which are available to pick up from the official online store.

But it’s this latest piece of game related merchandise that looks like a great addition to anyone looking to garner a collection. At the time of writing there is only one in existence and this was the one which was displayed at QuakeCon 2023. Fans will probably notice the colour scheme of white and blue, which matches that of the Starfield Xbox controller and headset.

We can see that the back of the chair is adorned with the emblem of the Constellation faction and that the front of the chair carries a variant of the game’s logo in grey.

Looking at the chair, it is essentially a variant of Noblechairs’ current Legend series gaming chairs, the  cheapest of which retails for $639. And if you want a faux-leather version of the chair, then you can add another $50 on top of that. We assume that the Starfield commissioned version of this gaming chair will be priced around this figure but we will have to wait on confirmation from the manufacturer on this.

Fans who wish to register their interest in this piece of merchandise can do so through the manufacturer’s website, However there is no date for release at this time. And this release actually marks the second time that Bethesda has paired with the company, with Noblechairs having previously commissioned Fallout and Doom chairs, not forgetting those based on the Elder Scrolls and Wolfenstein, which if you recall were announced back in 2020.
