For the role of Katniss Everdeen, numerous actresses had been considered for the role. From a plethora that consisted of Emma Roberts, Chloë Grace Moretz, Mary Mouser, Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin, Lyndsy Fonseca, Jodelle Ferland, Saoirse Ronan, Kaya Scodelario, Emily Browning, Brie Larson, and Shailene Woodley, Jennifer Lawrence had to beat them all to become the epitome of revolution in the 2012 movie.

The notable feat is that Saoirse Ronan, the actress known for portraying the role of Briony Tallis in the 2007 movie titled Atonement had already an Oscar nomination to her name. As for Lawrence, the actress had just created a stable foothold in the Hollywood industry. The only conclusion is that Lawrence had such an eye-catching performance that the producers had no choice but to pick Lawrence over Saoirse Ronan.

Saoirse Ronan would go on to receive Oscar nominations for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Little Women, Lady Bird, and, Brooklyn making a total of 4 Oscar nominations. Lawrence recently starred in the s*x-comedy No Hard Feelings and as per the actress, she felt the nudity was hilarious.

The actress recently starred in the 2023 s*x-comedy film titled No Hard Feelings. Since it was an adult comedy, there were several scenes where full-frontal nudity from both parties was seen. In an interview with Variety, the actress talked about she found comfort in nudity and she thought it was hilarious.

“Everyone in my life and my team is doing the right thing and going, ‘Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you sure?’ I didn’t even have a second thought. It was hilarious to me.”

In the end, Lawrence did become a recipient of an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role with her 2013 movie titled Silver Linings Playbook. Her recently released film, No Hard Feelings received a rating of 6.5/10 on IMDB and 71% on Rotten Tomatoes.
