Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have decided to walk their separate ways, as the latter filed for divorce from wife of four years in Miami earlier this month.
The filing said the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken, and recent developments suggest the pair is set for a bitter custody battle over their two children. Late in September, it emerged that the Game of Thrones actress is suing Jonas for the return of their two daughters to her home country, England. From hereon, things are likely to only get messier.

Taylor Swift has come to the rescue of Sophie Turner during the 27-year-old actress’ bitter legal battle with star singer Joe Jonas, 34.
According to Page Six, Swift has emerged as a great ally amid turmoil in Turner’s personal life, taking her to dinner and keeping her entertained. Now, in a huge gesture of solidarity with the young actress, the pop star has stepped up to loan Turner her ‘stunning apartment’ in New York City.
It is understood Swift keeps a Tribeca pad as an investment property but has decided to let Turner make it a temporary home while she looks to settle the custody dispute with Jonas. The same report adds that on Wednesday, the Game of Thrones star was seen leaving the apartment with her two daughters, Willa and Delphine. She was also spotted exploring some of the comfort food spots in the area.
“It’s going to be a long court battle,” New York trial lawyer Aaron Richard Golub, who is not working on Jonas and Turner’s case, told Page Six.
Accordingly, in such an emotionally testing period, the Queen of the North will certainly appreciate the support from Swift, who’s doing exactly what Sansa’s sister, Arya would’ve done in the series.
