Thanks to the role of Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things, Hollywood star Millie Bobby Brown became a worldwide sensation, however, the actress is now ready to leave it behind as she has some regrets over the role.
Last year, the show was renewed for a fifth and final season but faced some issues due to the Writers Guild of America strike. With the strike out of the way, the production of the show is now in full swing. Brown, who got engaged to Jake Bongiovi earlier this year, explained that the show has been restricting her from exploring new things.
Millie Bobby Brown is ready to say goodbye to Stranger Things
After four long seasons, actress Millie Bobby Brown has to play the role of Eleven for the fifth and final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, and without a doubt, she is excited to leave it behind as it had been stopping her from exploring different things. In a recent interview with Glamour, Brown said,
“I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye. When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘Alright, let’s do this,’. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here. Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about.”
The role played a key role in popularising the actress among a wider audience around the world. Due to the Writers Guild of America strike, the show faced some setbacks but fans can expect it to arrive in 2024.
Millie Bobby Brown got engaged to Jake Bongiovi in April 2023
Millie Bobby Brown certainly has more things to focus on now, including her wedding with Jake Bongiovi, son of Jon Bon Jovi. The two stars announced their engagement in April 2023 and are all set to get married soon. In the interview, Brown also highlighted that her fiance doesn’t expect her to be a stereotypical wife,
“After meeting Jake and seeing, ‘Oh, I don’t have to be this stereotypical wife for him. He doesn’t want me to be that either. He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that.’ I was like, ‘Oh, I do want this.'”
The 19-year-old star started dating Bongiovi roughly three years ago and the two attended their first red carpet together in 2022. The actress likes to keep her private life out of the spotlight, but her engagement announcement took the internet by storm. Brown has several projects lined up such as Anthony and Joe Russo’s 2024 movie The Electric State and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s Damsel.
