Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode 13, came out on October 19, 2023. It was really exciting, with a focus on the Yuji vs. Choso fight.
The animation in this episode was fantastic, making it one of the best-animated episodes in the whole series. The fight had some cool references to the action movie franchise, The Raid, and had great choreography.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode Teases a Significant Connection Between Choso and Yuji
In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, episode 13, Yuji Itadori and Choso had an intense fight, raising questions about their connection. During their battle, Choso had a vision of himself with his brothers, with Yuji standing among them. This makes us wonder if there’s a real bond between them.
However, Yuji is a human, and Choso is a Cursed Womb Death Painting. Their origins are connected to a guy named Kenjaku, who mixed his blood with Choso’s mother to create Death Paintings, including Choso. Yuji’s parentage is linked to Kenjaku too, as he was born under mysterious circumstances involving Kenjaku and Kaori Itadori.

So, while they’re not biologically related, they’re considered half-brothers because of their shared parent, Kenjaku. Choso initially wanted revenge on Yuji for his brothers’ deaths, but a false memory made him protect Yuji, revealing their emotional connection.
Noritoshi Kamo, now called Kenjaku, made nine Death Painting Wombs, which are Cursed Spirit siblings. This group includes Choso and his late brothers, Eso and Kechizu. In later manga chapters, Yuji Itadori shares that he ate the other six death-painting wombs when talking to Choso.
Intense Battle and Drama in Upcoming Anime Episode
In the newest Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode, there were subtle hints about Choso and Yuji having a stronger connection in the future. But to learn more about their relationship, fans will need to wait for future episodes.
