Naruto Uzumaki is without a doubt one of the most renowned anime and manga characters. Naruto’s growth and development as a character throughout the series is one of the primary reasons why the series achieved such a tremendous success. Naruto has always been an outcast, daring, determined, and hard worker. He never gave up, no matter what the odds were. Above all, Naruto is a gentle soul who has always considered the well-being of others. These qualities make him the ideal main character for the series.
However, a recent trend on Twitter may disagree with Naruto being the most impactful character of the series. A recent Twitter trend called “Who in Naruto…” simplifies down to people mentioning their favorite character, Jutsus, arcs, bouts, and so on from the series, with Naruto Uzumaki curiously not showing up in the favorite character area.

However, the majority of choices were against Naruto, indicating that the character may have lost some credibility as the primary character due to his demeanor, capacity to be the center of attraction, or any other cause.
Naruto losing credibility doesn’t mean that he was a bad main character for the series. It just shows that people relate to other characters more and choose them as their favorite characters. But if their favorite character gets the center stage, they too may have many complexities that would reduce their fan following.
