The final episode is arguably one of the best in all fiction; it contains a heavy dosage of action, sadness, acceptance, and horror. We also got to see how terrible mass genocide is and how much suffering Eren went through for the sake of his friends.

Yuki Kaji and all the other voice actors did a phenomenal job, along with MAPPA, who went all out to give this masterpiece a fantastic send-off. One of the interesting facts about the episode that surprised many fans was that Yuki Kaji’s son did the VA for the crying child.

You can hear him during the 28th-minute mark of the episode. Kaji and his partner, Ayana Taketatsu, had a child last November, whose name has not been made public yet.
