Jason Momoa is set to bring Aquaman back to the big screens again this December. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is looking to dominate the holiday season as the high-profile release of the month. The film will still face some competition though, with family-friendly animated film The Migration, The Iron Claw starring Zac Efron, and the wide release of the critically-acclaimed American Fiction.
Momoa’s closest competitor could also be Sydney Sweeney, who will be seen in a romantic comedy titled Anyone But You. The Euphoria actor who gained unprecedented superstardom with the hit drama series, could possibly spoil Momoa’s party this December, despite Aquaman 2 being the final countdown to Zack Snyder’s DC vision.

Will This Sydney Sweeney’s Rom-Com Challenge Jason Momoa’s Aquaman 2?
Despite many controversies surrounding Aquaman 2 on and off-set, Jason Momoa’s towering presence is expected to erase all the speculative reports coming in. The film which is looking to single-handedly take over the box office with its hype, could face some competition from other smaller films, including Sydney Sweeney’s Anyone But You. The rom-com which will share the opening Christmas weekend with Aquaman 2, is primarily being awaited for Sweeney’s presence.
The Euphoria star has carved a niche for herself through her powerful performance in the hit drama series and has gained a cult following around the world. With Aquaman 2 already being riddled with a lot of challenges in front of, and behind the camera, Sweeney’s charm in a feel-good romance could just be the tonic for most viewers this holiday season. The result of this face-off will be known over the Christmas weekend.
