In conversation with Jimmy Fallon, Johansson had the chance to look at the video and dispel what was happening in it. Fallon reassured her that it was nothing embarrassing, before pointing at the video for Johansson to have a look at. Upon viewing the video, Johansson’s reaction floored the late-night host and the audience. The Black Widow actress said:

“Oh my God, that is my mom. That’s my mom. I’ve been looking for her for the last 15 years. That’s very strange, that’s fully my mom. Where did she go?” 

Following this, the actress and the show host moved on to talk about Johansson’s line of skin care products, The Outset, which the actress was presumably there to promote. While looking at the video, Johansson seized the opportunity to crack a joke, which not only resonated well with eh live audience but also with her online fans who looked at the clip from Fallon’s show.
